SAFETY UPDATE

Good Afternoon Wappingers CSD Community,

We were informed at 3:37pm that police activity in the Wiccoppee area has ceased, and it is now safe to release John Jay High School Students to their buses.  Out of an abundance of caution, the EFPD has indicated that in addition to having extra officers at JJHS for dismissal, that any buses traversing the areas of interest will be escorted by a police cruiser.   

John Jay High School is beginning to dismiss as of 3:42pm based on information received from law enforcement.  Additional updates will be forthcoming.
